Social Responsibility

Consumer Wellness Store is affiliated with the Consumer Wellness Center, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that funds and promotes educational programs for empowering consumers.

A special project of the Consumer Wellness Center is FoodRising.org, dedicated to launching a "Food Rising Revolution" that promotes food education among children and food self-reliance among adults.

The flagship product of Food Rising is our Mini-Farm Grow Box system, which is a non-electric, easy-to-use food production system that grows lettuce, strawberries, tomatoes, medicinal herbs and many other foods using NO electricity, NO soil and NO complex mechanical parts. It's a non-electric, open-source food production system that can be easily constructed using common tools and parts. The system appeals to vegans, vegetarians, preppers and survivalists alike, allowing anyone to produce high-quality food at very little cost and with very little effort.

So far, we've donated over 250 grow systems to schools, community centers and churches around the USA. This is about launching a food revolution for the world. Chasing profits for their own sake is a fool's errand, but chasing the dream of inspiring a whole new generation of children to learn how to grow food is, as they say, "priceless."
